The Impact of Fiscal Decentralization on Poverty Reduction in Vietnam

In Vietnam, the issue of decentralization and implementation have been a concern for long time. This study focuses on impact fiscal poverty reduction in Vietnam. Based provincial data with use two-stage least squares method (2SLS), estimation results obtained two periods show that had an income/expenditure period from 2010–2015 it no significant effect multidimensional 2016–2019. The also found economic growth, education local welfare spending both stages, which growth is relatively large, while expenditures small locality. Improving infrastructure through information networks increasing participation people at grassroots level 2016–2019 periods.
